En qué consiste
String instruments incorporate mechanical elements subject to movement, pressure and friction. With use and time, some of these points can benefit from adequate cleaning and lubrication as part of maintenance.
In Raven, the greasing of mechanical parts consists of reviewing the instrument and acting only on the mechanisms that technically require it. Depending on the construction, it can affect tuning machines, moving points of certain bridges or tremoles, adjustment parts or other elements susceptible to lubrication. Not all these components are always greased: each mechanism is assessed separately.
Not all materials support the same product or treatment. Applying lubricant indiscriminately can soil, attract dust or interfere with operation. We work only where it brings real benefit.
En guitarras clásicas o flamencas, la intervención suele concentrarse en el mecanismo del clavijero cuando el estado lo justifica. Es el mismo servicio, adaptado al sistema concreto.
Este mantenimiento periódico ayuda a reducir fricciones innecesarias y a conservar un funcionamiento mecánico más previsible. No sustituye la reparación de piezas rotas ni garantiza por sí solo la estabilidad de afinación: una inestabilidad puede tener origen en cejuela, cuerdas, montaje, puente u otros factores.
No incluye sustitución de piezas, reparación de mecanismos rotos, sustitución de clavijeros ni trabajos estructurales. Si aparece daño o hace falta cambio de componentes, se valora aparte.
